King's Compass 
The Compass Yacht line was designed to provide a comfortable, completely equipped, practical cruising yacht with a high-quality interior that would withstand time. There are 25 Compass Yachts built in the Grand Harbor boat yard in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, which is known for its finely crafted joinery work and attention to detail. Each build was inspected many times during construction by an Independent Survey company to assure the best quality. Most were built and delivered to new owners on the West Coast. 
The 55 Compass Yacht is a three stateroom two-head design. The galley-up layout helps create a more formal salon. The master stateroom is mid-ship with a full queen bed, and ensuite head with a large shower. You will find a nice bunk room forward of the master and to Starboard. Forward of the bunk room is a nice center-line queen stateroom which is ensuite to the second head.  All the counter tops are black granite to give beauty and durability. All the cabinetry is made with two types of cherry wood and pear wood burl trim. The high gloss finish is durable and striking to the eye. 
“King’s Compass” has had many upgrades and is in excellent condition.

Additional Information

The Compass 55 Pilothouse is a wonderful design for the cruising family. King's Compass has great walk-around side decks and strong stainless steel rails and cleats. The new Rockna anchor has 250 ft. chain and operated by an electric power-up and down Maxwell windlass. The windlass can be operated by the fore deck foot switches, the controls at each helm as well as the Yacht Controller. The Yacht Controller makes anchoring and retrieving the anchor a dream. You can lay out your anchor and chain and retrieve it using the engines and the thruster single-handling the yacht...simply stand on the bow and follow the anchor chain when you are retrieving. No yelling, no muss or fuss. There are two side boarding gates that are built into the railing if you need to board on the starboard or port side decks. Additionally, there are also have two side doors that allow you to enter the pilothouse. 

The decks, trunk cabin, and flybridge are covered with a new AquaTraction non-skid decking for a much better grip under foot. It is resistant to stains, easy to clean and provides safe footing on dry or wet decks. 

The large teak covered swim-step has pop-up cleats and a stainless steel staple which is convenient for the tender tie ups. One small step up takes you through to the side deck transom gates and you have entered the well arranged cockpit with more teak decking. You have a large three or four person settee to sit and enjoy the drop down TV that is built into the overhead of the cockpit. Plenty of storage under the settee as well as more storage outboard under the starboard flybridge teak and stainless steel ladder in a storage cabinet. To the port side of the cockpit is the entrance into the very large lazarett and engine room, as well as a storage space.
