Chris Burkard, a native Floridian, is an avid lifelong boater. Growing up in Ft. Lauderdale, Chris’ father and grandfather were both boat owners and maintained a small fleet of boats and yachts up to 57’. Nearly all the family’s free time and vacations were spent on the water aboard a vessel.
Chris spent his childhood, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and water skiing. It wasn’t all just fun and games, Chris was expected to do his part of maintaining the vessels, including washing, waxing, painting, and varnishing. Chris began his career in the Yachting industry in 1993 at Allied Marine in Stuart, Florida. Yacht Service is where Chris began, but he knew he wanted to transition into sales. In 1994 Chris sold his first yacht, a 53 Hatteras Motor Yacht. In 1995 Chris moved to Allied Marine in Ft. Lauderdale. In 1997 Allied Marine acquired a dealership in Naples, Fl and Chris was asked to move to Naples to be a part of the Naples team. Put Chris’ 31 years of yacht sales experience to work for you.
