- Durable Materials: No wood is used on the exterior—only stainless steel and fiberglass—minimizing maintenance while enhancing durability.
Hull Construction
- Proven Design: Over 60 NP43s were built and they have cruised from CA to Alaska as well as East Coast extensively. The NP43 is a well-proven coastal cruiser.
- Seaworthiness:
- Hard chines provide good initial stability for a comfortable cruise. The semi-displacement hull also allows for cruise speeds higher than hull speed.
- Solid Fiberglass:
- Solid fiberglass hull.
- Outer layers use high-quality vinylester resin to prevent blistering.
- Below the waterline, an epoxy barrier further prevents blistering.
- Reinforcements:
- Molded FRP grid bonded to the hull bottom for added rigidity.
